The Scottish Premiership’s summer transfer activity is picking up pace, with nearly all clubs securing their first signings of the window.

Celtic, however, have yet to make their move but are actively pursuing several exciting prospects, with deals expected to materialize in the coming weeks.

As the new season approaches, attention is firmly on the latest transfer speculations.

Former Aberdeen executive Keith Wyness has confidently predicted that Celtic’s bid to secure Paulo Bernardo permanently from Benfica will succeed.

Sources in Portugal, as reported by Football Insider, suggest that Celtic will finalize a deal worth approximately £6 million for the midfielder, following his successful loan spell at Parkhead.

“It will get done. I spoke to someone in Portugal about this deal the other day and they said the deal will end up around £6 million. The wages won’t be a problem,” Wyness stated optimistically.

He continued, emphasizing Bernardo’s potential impact at Celtic: “Bernardo will do very well in the Celtic shop window. They’ve got a great record of bringing international players in and selling them for better value. They’ve done a great job of that, and this could be a similar story. He’s a talent, and he’ll do well in the Scottish game.”

Bernardo, who joined Celtic on loan last September from Benfica, impressed with three goals and three assists in 19 Scottish Premiership appearances.
