DEAL CONFIRMED: Celtic set to land MAJOR superstar after huge Bernardo signing for a whopping £4m, negotiating ongoing.

The summer transfer window began in June, but it wasn’t until over a month later that Celtic made their first signing. Viljami Sinisalo, a Finland international, joined the club from Aston Villa to compete for a goalkeeper position, following Joe Hart’s retirement. Kasper Schmeichel is also set to join, adding to the competition. The team is also eyeing Royal Antwerp’s Michel-Ange Balikwisha, Norwich City’s Adam Idah, and Middlesbrough’s Riley McGree for further signings.

Celtic’s first outfield addition is expected to be Paulo Bernardo of Benfica, following a successful loan spell last season. The club has agreed to a £3.5m fee for his permanent move, after negotiating down from the original £6.5m option. Personal terms are yet to be ironed out, but Bernardo is eager to join. This would be an exciting addition for Celtic, considering his promising performances last season.

Another target for the club is Lausanne’s highly-rated young talent, Sanches, who is valued at £4m. At 21, he would offer a long-term prospect for the midfield, potentially alongside Bernardo. With impressive performances in the Super League, Sanches could bring immediate threat to Celtic’s attacking prowess.
