Croatian midfielder Mario Pasalic has praised Celtic goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel for his performance after their 0-0 draw with Atalanta in Bergamo last night.

The Serie A side dominated possession and created multiple chances throughout the match but couldn’t break through Celtic’s stubborn defence. Pasalic was quick to acknowledge the crucial role Schmeichel played in frustrating Atalanta’s attack. “We had several chances but we came up against Kasper Schmeichel, and unfortunately, we couldn’t break his resistance,” Pasalic said after the match (Glasgow Times).
