BREAKING: Orlando Vs Nuggets Indicate NBA Champion to Massive $66 Million Deal. The Orlando Magic is making moves.

Entering free agency as one of the teams with significant cap room, the Magic wasted no time in acquiring a vital player for what they hope will be a deep playoff run this season. This comes in the shape of former Denver Nuggets shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, who is allegedly close to signing a three-year, $66 million contract with Orlando.

The first several hours of NBA free agency have been quite the roller coaster ride. The Magic participated in the festivities by making a big splash in the market. According to NBA guru Shams Charania of The Athletic, Caldwell-Pope has come to terms with the Magic on a massive deal. “Kentavious Caldwell-Pope plans to sign a three-year, $66 million contract with the Orlando Magic, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. “A massive pickup for the rising Magic, acquiring the starting shooting guard of two NBA title teams,” Charania reported on X, formerly Twitter.

Caldwell-Pope, who had spent the previous two seasons in Denver, was a popular name in free agency. The defending Western Conference champions, the Dallas Mavericks, were also mentioned as a possible destination for the 6-foot-5 guard. The Nuggets, on the other hand, apparently had no intention of assisting a Western Conference opponent, implying that they were willing to block a prospective Mavs trade. Losing KCP is a devastating blow for Denver, but the bright lining is that he’s leaving the conference.Follow me on Twitter @PaoloSongcoNBA, and @HardwoodHeroics.
