Months later, however, LeBron James is back with the team, ready to play for his co-host and first-year head coach, JJ Redick. As the Lakers continue to strengthen their coaching staff, Support Redick. During his first season in Los Angeles, James finally broke the silence. As Redick prepares for his first season as an NBA coach, the Lakers have pledged to surround him with expertise. Los Angeles has hired former head coaches Scott Brooks and Nate McMillan to the staff, achieving that aim quickly and effectively. According to ESPN’s Dave McMenamin, James reiterated that he was not involved in Redick’s hiring, but expressed excitement about working with the new coaching staff. “”I’m not engaged in the coaching hiring, but I’m enthusiastic about JJ,” he stated. “I’m looking forward to working with [Coach] Nate McMillan. I haven’t worked with him since the Olympics in 2008. First time working with the coach. [Scott] Brooks, I’m looking forward to that. So I’m excited about it. That’s about it for the Lakers this summer.”
