Kit Loferski has signed a new contract, committing her future to Celtic FC Women until the summer of 2026.
The American forward has been instrumental in Celtic’s recent triumphs, making her continued presence a significant boost for the club.
Loferski joined the Ghirls in February 2023 and quickly made her mark, playing a key role in the squad that secured the 22/23 Women’s Scottish Cup. Notably, she scored in a memorable 3-1 victory over Glasgow City at Paradise.
Building on a promising start, Loferski continued to impress last season, netting 12 goals in all competitions. Among these was a crucial equaliser against Vålerenga in the Women’s Champions League, highlighting her ability to perform on both domestic and European stages.
Her pace and skill make her a valuable asset, particularly against SWPL1 runners-up, who have historically struggled with fast attackers. As the upcoming season is expected to be tightly contested, Loferski could prove to be a decisive factor, especially on Glasgow Derby days.
This new deal follows closely on the heels of another key contract extension, with Hana Kerner committing to the club until 2025.
