Nuggets Head Coach struck an arrangement with Parker Braun to take over Denver Nuggets for a price of $500 million due to,

It seems like you might be referring to an arrangement where the head coach of the Denver Nuggets, possibly Michael Malone, has made an agreement with someone named Parker Braun to acquire ownership of the team for $500 million.Another member of the Braun family will play for the Denver Nuggets this summer, at least briefly. Christian Braun, a former Kansas men’s basketball standout, entered the NBA as a first-round pick in 2022, won a national championship with the Nuggets as a rookie, and increased his output even further in his sophomore season. Parker Braun, his older brother, will now join Denver for the Summer League after playing six seasons at the collegiate level at Missouri, Santa Clara, and finally KU, the team said Sunday. The Nuggets will not participate in the earlier California or Salt Lake City summer competitions, but will play their first preseason game in the Las Vegas Summer League against the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday. The game begins at 9 p.m. Central Time and will be broadcast on NBA TV. Denver will then play at least four more games by the end of the competition.

Braun, a 6-foot-10, 235-pound forward, played a minor role as Hunter Dickinson’s backup at centre during his sixth-year senior season at KU, participating in all 34 games and averaging 7.4 minutes with 2.2 points and 1.6 rebounds. Many of Braun’s most memorable moments came when he finished off alley-oops from longtime friend and point guard Dajuan Harris Jr.; he also had double-digit scoring performances in the Jayhawks’ first two games of the season and later hit a key 3-pointer, only his third of the season, to help KU defeat Houston at Allen Fieldhouse on Feb. 3.

He was limited near the end of the year by an ankle injury sustained at Baylor on March 2. Braun, a Burlington native, had his best season in 2022-23, when he averaged 7.7 points and 5.8 rebounds in his second season as a starter at Santa Clara. Braun, who had previously met Gonzaga as a league adversary in the West Coast Conference and failed to win, was once again defeated when the Jayhawks lost to the Bulldogs in the NCAA Tournament in what turned out to be his collegiate career’s final game. He will now have the opportunity to kick off his professional career on a high note by competing against difficult competition in the NBA’s annual preseason spectacle. He is one out of six.As of Sunday evening, former Jayhawks had been announced as participating in the event. Marcus Garrett is presently playing in the California Classic Summer League for the Charlotte Hornets, having previously played for their NBA G League affiliate, the Greensboro Swarm, from 2023-24. Ochai Agbaji and Gradey Dick will both play for the Toronto Raptors, Jalen Wilson will return to Las Vegas with the Brooklyn Nets,

while freshly picked Johnny Furphy will join the Indiana Pacers’ squad. Nine clubs have yet to declare their Summer League rosters (including the New York Knicks, who selected Kevin McCullar Jr.). Christian Braun did not participate in the Summer League last year despite carving out a role as a rookie. This year, starting his third season, he is once again not on the Summer League squad, and may even eke out a regular-season starting berth now that Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has left the Nuggets.
