That came after the Hammers were given the despised 5.45 p.m. kickoff time by UEFA. About 8,000 seats were ultimately unsold for the decisive 5-0 victory.

West Ham season ticket holders have been securing their own seats and took advantage of a window to hoover up additional tickets for the huge clash, which kicks off at 8pm.
What remained did not last long on general sale either.At the time of writing on Monday – 24 days out from that second leg clash – the London Stadium is now sold out.
Tickets have quite literally gone like hot cakes. Less than 50 remained as of 2.36pm on Monday March 25th. And 15 minutes later they were all gone with the club’s ticket page now closed for that game.
Selling out a game more than three weeks in advance is some achievement.
Air of confidence among West Ham fans
Despite the level of the opposition, there is an air of confidence among many West Ham fans for the clash.
Azerbajani side Qarabag came within minutes of knocking Leverkusen out in the last 16. And they scored four goals against Xabi Alonso’s pass-masters over two legs.
Freiburg also got two goals against Leverkusen in a narrow 3-2 defeat last weekend.
West Ham’s brilliant attacking players and recent European pedigree make them a dangerous team for any side to face.
One European football expert believes West Ham could be facing the German title favourites at the perfect time.
